Purpose and scope
The electret microphone M-0906G (hereinafter “microphone”, please refer to photo 1) converts the acoustic signal into the electric one.
The design feature of the microphone is the presence of a “gooseneck” or a flexible tube, which provides the ability to quickly adjust the microphone head for the certain operator (driver). This allows the driver to announce voice massages while driving a vehicle without taking the microphone in the hands, which makes the operation more comfortable and definitely increases the traffic safety.
The microphone can be used as a part of products operating under conditions of shaking and vibration, for example, on the transport vehicles in the voice announcement systems VAS-0650, VAS-0651.

The acoustic signal is converted by the microphone into the electric one with the electret capsule and then given to the pre-amplifier with the fixed gain.
Structurally the microphone is made in the form of a stand with a head, which is connected to the metal base cap via the “gooseneck” (a flexible tube). The preamplifier board and a connector are mounted in the metal base cap.
The microphone (photo 1, photo 2) is switched on by pushing the button which can be installed in any place convenient for driver.
By turning the microphone on the red ring at its head lights up with a faint glow.
Depending on the devices the microphone works with, the connection cables have two versions:
version 1: straight connector XLR
version 2: connector XLR with extension cable
